The UFO team developed these 5 idents for MTV Classic with MTV World Design Studio Milan As part of the channel’s rebranding, the films needed to follow the simple rules of the rebrand concept and design.
However, the project enabled the team to develop their own concepts within these constraints. Each one resolves around the concept of a lost video tape which touch on different subjects from days of yesteryear, including TV, video gaming, film and music culture.
Shot on Canon 5D on green screen and edited using Final Cut. The 3D was created in Maya, rotoscoped and composited using After FX. Matte Painting and decor was created using Photoshop.
