UFO created ‘Our Shoe’, a short homage film to their country as well as publicity trailer to promote Lacoste’s newest, French inspired sneaker. The new marketing idea, which was developed by Parisian magazine Shoes UP, brought together photographers, artists, designers and illustrators to celebrate the new shoe made from the material of Berets. Within the film Ludovic Vernhet plays with French iconography. The animator and director treated footage taken straight from 1920′s dance halls such as the Moulin Rouge, was later edited with 3D and After FX animated illustration to give the films its ambigious feel. Ludovic also designed stills featured in the magazine and book that accompanied the publicity of the project. The Film was shown in a global exhibition that launched the trainer in every major city of the world.

All the animation and editing was created at Mathematic in after FX and Maya. The music was also composed here by Mathieu Gastaldi.
